I think the story or Adam and Eve is a cautionary tale,
We are created with a purpose and anything we need the father provides,
Then we let it get into our heads that if we can do what he can, then we can do what we want, how we want,
We leave the protection of the father, and struggle in vain chasing power, love, and safety.
We already had that in the garden.
It's easy to read the story and judge Adam and Eve,
But aren't we all Adam and Eve,
We are created with a purpose and anything we need the father provides,
Then we let it get into our heads that we don't need him, that we can do everything ourselves,
We struggle in vain chasing the power, love and safety of the garden.
When we come to him,
Surrender to him,
Rest in him,
We fall back under his protection.
In a world where we are all Adam and Eve,
Do you eat the fruit?
Or do you choose Him?
