The fear of the Lord is like understanding we are a thread in the tapestry of the universe; And He is the weaver.
It isn't in the same way we understand fear,
It's an honour and admiration for the one that made the world and everything in it.
We are but a wisp of smoke,
Here today, gone tomorrow,
But He,
He has been here from before the beginning of the world, and will be here long after,
He is not limited by time, or space, like us,
And though we have tried, we cannot distil the wonders and mind of God into something we can fully comprehend.
But we are reflections of the Father,
Called to shine our light on others,
To fear the Lord is to love Him, and to let Him love you,
And to love—
Is to know one's heart.
